Cutting Through Chaos is a newsletter about product work, clarity, and making progress when everything feels messy.

Whether it’s stakeholders asking for a lot of things at the same time, or users sending you their feedback - the information firehose can be overwhelming.

I write about:

  • Product management: the real work, not just the theory

  • Agile and process: practical ways to work better, not just follow frameworks

  • Usability, tools, and structure: how the little things make a big difference

  • Lessons from experience: what I’ve learned, what’s worked (and what hasn’t)

It’s part tips, part stories, part experiments — all aimed at helping busy product folks cut through the noise and focus on what matters.

I publish roughly once a week. Posts are usually short, actionable, and honest.

Who am I?

I’m Ben — a product generalist who’s been a PM, Agile coach, engineer, and more. I’ve worked across startups and scale-ups, and I like bringing order to chaos (even if I sometimes cause a little along the way).

I’ve been told by colleagues that I’m the most organised person they’ve met — though I don’t always feel that way. I’m not complacent about staying organised, and I’m always trying new ways to keep on top of things.

This newsletter is where I explore ideas and share what I’ve learned. It’s low-key and independent — if you enjoy it, I’d love if you subscribed or shared it with someone else who might.
